Post-combustion CO2 capture process: Equilibrium stage mathematical model of the chemical absorption of CO2 into monoethanolamine (MEA) aqueous solution

▶ HYSYS simulator can successfully optimize the amine based post combustion CO2 capture. ▶ There is an optimal composition of MDEA and DEA amines which minimize the total cost. ▶ The optimal concentration is: 20% MDEA and 20% DEA in water (wet weight).
