Ozonation through ceramic membrane contactor for iodide oxidation during iodine recovery from brine water

► Bubbling method were compared to membrane method for iodide oxidation. ► The best configuration is ozone pass through the membrane tube. ► pH, gas-liquid flow rate ratio and membrane length variations can change iodide conversion. ► Significant main effects to the conversion are gas-liquid flow rate ratio and membrane length.
