Preparation and characterization of PVDF/TiO2 mixed matrix membrane via in situ colloidal precipitation method

► TiO2 nanoparticles were incorporated into PVDF membrane via colloidal precipitation method. ► Membrane prepared using NMP as solvent has smaller particle size. ► Membrane prepared using DMAc as solvent has narrower pore size distribution. ► Membrane prepared using DMAc and 0.01 g/L of TiO2 has better permeation flux and rejection of humic acid.
