Preparation, characterization and application of β-cyclodextrin-glutaraldehyde crosslinked membrane for the enantiomeric separation of amino acids

► Preparation of a crosslinked membrane for chiral separation of amino acids ► The effects of different parameters on the performance of the membranes were studied. ► Membranes are mechanically stable and suitable for pressure driven separation. ► After enantiomeric separation 81.1%ee for phenylalanine and separation factor (α > 7.2) was exhibited.
