Structural and performance properties of UV-assisted TiO2 deposited nano-composite PVDF/SPES membranes

►Novel PVDF/SPES membranes were prepared by self-assembly of TiO2 along with UV irradiation. ►The hydrophilicity of membranes decreased considerably with deposition of TiO2. ►TiO2 deposited membranes showed high antifouling properties due to photocatalytic and superhydrophilicity effects. ►The UV irradiated TiO2 deposited membranes possess high antibacterial activity.
