Synthesis and electrical properties of NaSS-MAA-MMA cation exchange membranes for membrane capacitive deionization (MCDI)

► Charge currents indicate high efficient electrosorption and desorption properties. ► We synthesized binder with various monomer ratios using solution polymerization. ► Several membrane basic properties including electrical properties were measured. ► The membrane was prepared by heat cross-linking and esterification reactions.
