Sorption studies of Cu(II) on gooseberry fruit (emblica officinalis) and its removal from electroplating wastewater

► Amla is abundantly found in India. It is a rich source of vitamin 'c' hence frequently used in various Indian medicines. ► The material left after extraction of juice is utilized for the removal of Cu(II) from electroplating wastewater. ► Removal of Cu(II) ions was more than 90% from actual electroplating wastewater.
