Genetic association analysis of ERBB4 polymorphisms with the risk of schizophrenia and SPEM abnormality in a Korean population

► The human ERBB4 is considered as candidate gene in schizophrenia. ► However, the genetic study between ERBB4 and schizophrenia is still lacking. ► We investigated an association of seven ERBB4 variations with schizophrenia and SPEM. ► None of variations in ERBB4 was significantly associated with schizophrenia in Korean. ► The findings in this study were consistent with previous genetic association studies.
