▶Novel mechanism for Ca2+ signaling following oxidative stress in neuronal cell line. ▶Sublethal oxidative stress results in selective up-regulation of type-2 IP3 receptors. ▶Oxidative stress differentially mediates increased Ca2+ release into the nucleoplasm. ▶Novel source of Ca2+ dysregulation induced by oxidative stress. ▶Differential subcellular Ca2+ signaling specifically within the nucleus.
