Decision-making impairment in schizophrenia: Relationships with positive symptomatology

► The Iowa Gambling Task (IGT) performance and clinical symptoms were studied in 40 schizophrenics and 20 controls. ► Schizophrenic patients did worse on IGT performance. ► PANSS positive symptoms were negative correlated with Net Score. ► The compromised decision making pattern may be related to positive symptom formation.
