In vitro effect of pesticides on the germination, vegetative growth, and conidial production of two strains of Metarhizium anisopliae

► We studied the effect of five pesticides on two strains of M. anisopliae in vitro. ► Key parameters germination, vegetative growth, and sporulation were evaluated. ► Slight effects for all three parameters occurred but only with high dosages. ► In total all pesticides could be classified as compatible with both strains.
