Toxoplasma gondii isolates: Multilocus RFLP-PCR genotyping from human patients in Sao Paulo State, Brazil identified distinct genotypes

► This study analysed the genetic characteristics of Brazilian Toxoplasma gondii isolates. ► Eighteen isolates from Brazilian patients belonged to ToxoDB Genotype #65. ► Two other isolates were identified as ToxoDB Genotypes #6 and #71, respectively. ► Genotype #65 may have a high frequency in human toxoplasmosis in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
