Effect of temperature on oxidative stress in fish: Lipid peroxidation and catalase activity in the muscle of juvenile seabass, Dicentrarchus labrax

► Oxidative stress responses of D. labrax were investigated at different temperatures. ► Stress response was not directly correlated to temperature. ► It was lowest at the species' optimal temperature. ► MDA concentration and catalase activity are sensitive to temperature. ► Comparison of sites with different thermal regimes should be done with caution.
