Mass and chemically speciated size distribution of Prague aerosol using an aerosol dryer - The influence of air mass origin

► Dried atmospheric aerosol was studied using a cascade impactor at Prague suburb. ► Influence of diurnal cycle of relative humidity was suppressed by a drying inlet. ► The air mass origin influenced both dry mass and chemical size distribution. ► WSOC, sulfate and ammonium were found in a fine mode, nitrate also in a coarse mode. ► Up to 80% of seasalt was transformed into nitrate in the sea influenced air masses.
