The relationship between magnetic parameters and heavy metal contents of indoor dust in e-waste recycling impacted area, Southeast China

► Elevated magnetic particles and heavy metals coexist in dust from e-waste recycling. ► Morphology and mineralogy of magnetic particles were studied by SEM-EDX and XRD. ► Coarse magnetites are the dominant magnetic minerals. ► There are significant correlation between the Cd, Co, Fe, Ni and Zn concentrations and SIRM.
