Analysis of the transport pathways and potential sources of PM10 in Shanghai based on three methods

► We combined three methods to investigate the transport pathways and potential sources of PM10 in Shanghai. ► Seven clusters were generated corresponding to the effect of East Asian monsoons. ► The northwestern and southwestern areas were two sources influencing Shanghai. ► The northwestern source was the dominant one affecting Shanghai in winter and spring.
