High concentrations of cadmium, cerium and lanthanum in indoor air due to environmental tobacco smoke

► We quantified cer, lanthanum and cadmium concentrations in indoor air. ► Cer and lanthanum concentrations were high in tobacco smoke enriched locations. ► Both elements can be considered as good markers for indoor air quality.
