Characterization of canopy fuels using ICESat/GLAS data

► Canopy fuel properties were estimated using ICESat/GLAS satellite LiDAR data. ► Geolocation of the footprints was evaluated using an ALS-derived DEM. ► Fuel properties were estimated from data derived from the waveform themselves. ► GLAS estimates were validated using ALS data previously validated with field data.
