Relationship between birth weight and exposure to airborne fine particulate potassium and titanium during gestation

► We examined exposure to fine particulate matter components of potassium and titanium during pregnancy. ► Exposure to potassium and titanium were associated with lower birth weight. ► Results are suggestive of a higher risk for infants of African-American mothers.
