Improvement of CO2/N2 separation characteristics of polyvinylamine by modifying with ethylenediamine

► Fixed carrier membrane was modified by a cross-linking agent containing carriers. ► Modifying PVAm by EDA can improve its CO2 plasticization resistance. ► The optimum PVAm-EDA/PS membrane showed a good CO2/N2 separation performance. ► PVAm-EDA/PS membrane had no obvious degradation after exposure to H2O-saturated SO2.
