Stress-induced changes of bioactive compounds in Tropaeolum majus L.

Mild stress can increase the concentration of bioactive constituents like glucotropaeolin (GT). Drought and MeJA application are suitable measures to increase the GT concentration in Tropaeolum majus, while a GT yield increase is hardly to achieve.
