Effect of drought stress on growth and accumulation of active constituents in Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge

▶ Drought stress decreased the growth of S. miltiorrhiza, but increased the contents of its active constituents. ▶ Our study suggests that moderate drought stress as a strategy can improve active constituent contents in S. miltiorrhiza cultivation.
