Provenance variations in the Late Paleozoic accretionary complex of central Chile as indicated by detrital zircons

► Northern protoliths were Carboniferous, whereas in the south deposition was Permian. ► Detrital zircon LuHf and O isotopes indicate mature crustal igneous source rocks. ► Devonian accretion north of 39°S was coeval with subduction to the south.
