Heat transfer characteristics and LED heat sink application of aluminum plate oscillating heat pipes

► A series of OHPs with different experimental parameters are manufactured and tested. ► The visualization setup of OHP is built for internal flow analysis. ► Increasing the number of turns and area of channel cross-section can improve OHP performance. ► A heat sink with a plate OHP is developed for LED cooling.
