Effects of supercritical CO2 extraction parameters on soybean oil yield

► Supercritical CO2 extraction of soybean oil was performed. ► Extraction yields were significantly affected by applied operational parameters. ► Applied Sovová's model presented a good adjustment for all extraction curves. ► The internal and external mass transfer coefficients were estimated. ► The extraction was successfully scaled-up from laboratory to pilot plant.
