Effect of the preparation method and calcination temperature on the oxidation activity of CO at low temperature on CuO-CeO2/SiO2 catalysts

- Interfacial copper species varies considerably with the method of preparation.
- Coimpregnation gives only Cu species interacting with CeO2 between 500 °C and 600 °C.
- Sequential impregnation leads also to bulk CuO species not interacting with CeO2.
- Sequential impregnation SI-Cu/Ce catalysts remain active after calcining at 700 °C.
