Visible light-driven oxygen evolution using a binuclear Ru-bda catalyst

A binuclear ruthenium catalyst exhibited higher activity than its monomeric precursor in photocatalytic water oxidation. However, the difference in the activity between the bi- and mononuclear catalysts was diminished with the increase in the amount of CH3CN in the reaction solution.
