Experimental investigation of electrosprayed droplets behaviour of water and KCl aqueous solutions in silicone oil

► Stability of electrosprayed water and KCl solutions droplets in silicone oil was investigated. ► Effects of flow rate, applied voltage and electrical conductivity on size of droplets were studied. ► Conductivity of dispersed liquid influences on electrospraying current. ► Irregular motion of charged drops in silicone oil is discussed.
