Molten salts-modified MgO-based adsorbents for intermediate-temperature CO2 capture: A review

Molten salts-modified magnesium oxide (MgO)-based adsorbents have drawn wide concern to the need of carbon dioxide (CO2) capture at intermediate temperatures. In this review, we critically summarized the recent developments of the molten salts-modified MgO CO2 adsorbents. The challenges and prospects in this promising field are also briefly discussed on the basis of its current development.125
