Controllable preparation of BiFeO3@carbon core/shell nanofibers with enhanced visible photocatalytic activity

- BiFeO3@carbon core/shell nanofibers (BFO@C NFs) were fabricated.
- The thickness of carbon layers can be adjusted by changing hydrothermal condition.
- BFO@C NFs showed enhanced photocatalytic activity under visible-light irradiation.
