Kinetics of thermal hydrocracking of heavy oils under moderate hydroprocessing reaction conditions

► The effect of temperature and contact time were studied on the product distribution. ► Five lumps with six kinetic constants are proposed for modeling of thermal hydrocracking. ► Good agreement was found between predicted and experimental product yields.
