CO2 radiation heat loss effects on NOx emissions and combustion instabilities in lean premixed flames

► Effect of CO2 on NOx emission of a dual lean premixed flame was investigated. ► Effect of CO2 on combustion instability of the premixed flame was investigated. ► Increase in CO2 dilution rate results in a decrease in NOx emission. ► Increase in CO2 dilution rate decreases combustion oscillation frequency (COF). ► The COF is more accurately predicted by considering the heat release fluctuation.
