An investigation on the heat transfer behavior and slag deposition of membrane wall in pilot-scale entrained-flow gasifier

► A pilot trial and numerical model about entrained-flow gasifier was conducted. ► Based on normal slag discharging, the average flux heat of membrane wall in gasifier is about 80-200 kw/m2. ► Total slag layer is less than 25 mm. ► The solid slag is the main part in slag layer. ► The slag layer on membrane wall evidently reduces inner temperature of membrane wall.
