Performance assessment of organic-based synthetic calcium and boric acid modified bitumens

► Bitumen was modified with newly synthesized organic-based calcium and boric acid compounds. ► The stripping resistance of the bituminous mixtures was increased by additives. ► Low temperature cracking resistance of the bitumen was strengthened by them. ► Marshall Stability of the bituminous mixtures was increased. ► These additives are recommended to improve the roadway performance.
