Solubility of ionic liquids in water and octan-1-ol and octan-1-ol/water, or 2-phenylethanol/water partition coefficients

► The SLE and LLE phase diagrams with ionic liquids were measured. ► Large solubility of 2-phenylethanol in [EMIM][FAP] and [OiQuin][NTf2] was observed. ► The octan-1-ol/water, Kow and 2-phenylethanol/water, KPhw partition coefficients were measured. ► Separation of 2-phenylethanol/water system was discussed. ► The KPhw = 204 to 1064 for [OiQuin][NTf2] was observed.
