The mechanism and kinetics of Zn2+ electroreduction in the presence of octyltrimethylammonium bromide

At the concentration 3.5 × 10−5 mol dm−3 the shape of the Tafel plot drastically changes. It suggests a rapid change in consecutive rate constants, apparent transfer coefficients and reactant distance from the electrode surface.
