Electrochemical behaviour of mixed LB films of ubiquinone - DPPC

► Biomimetic films of ubiquinone-10 and DPPC have been successfully deposited on ITO using the LB technique. ► The ubiquinone-10 location in the DPPC matrix film changes with the surface pressure. ► The study permits to correlate the voltammetric response with the position of the UQ in the DPPC matrix.
