- Desorption behavior of five volatile organic compounds from activated carbon in supercritical carbon dioxide was reported.
- The measured desorption behavior depended strongly on the VOC species, temperature and pressure conditions.
- Measured data could be correlated with a kinetic model.
- Prediction model could represent the desorption behavior at various conditions.
