New source of unavoidable ions in galena flotation pulp: Components released from fluid inclusions

► Large numbers of fluid inclusions exist in natural galena. ► Compositions of fluid inclusions in galena are rich in Pb and Cl−. ► Compositions of fluid inclusions will be released into solution when the fluid inclusions are broken. ► The released Pb from inclusions present an important new source of the Pb in the flotation pulp.
