Hygrothermal transfer in wood drying under the atmospheric pressure gradient

► Evaluation of total pressure effect on moisture and heat transfer is proposed. ► This little difference in pressure is often the real driver of water molecules. ► A model that takes this slow water infiltration in consideration is developed. ► Pressure contribution to water filtration is more important at high temperature. ► Drying time can be reduced. It can reach 5% of water status changing.
