The structure is a bridge of 'concrete sails' with a main span of 220 m. The total length of the bridge is 470 m, with five spans of 30 + 40 + 90 + 220 + 90 m. The structure was projected without piers in the riverbed as foundations were not feasible due to the liquefaction risks of the ground under the seismic action, which in this zone is very high.
