Performance evaluation of hydropower generation system using transfer function modelling

► We introduce transfer function approach to hydropower plant performance evaluation. ► We modeled 10-year performance data from Kainji Hydro Power Station in Nigeria. ► Used the transfer function model parameter values as performance indicators. ► Established 2003 performance as best based on yearly performance indicator values. ► For a power plant to be efficient, the indicator value should be above 7.523.
