A forming limit curve for the corrosion resistance of coil-coatings based on electrochemical measurements

- We produced an EIS - corrosion forming limiting curve for one coil coated steel.
- Deep-drawn samples were characterised by EIS measurements made on small areas.
- The top surface of deep-drawn samples has the best stability.
- Corners and horizontal edges were severely degraded by the mechanical action.
- Lateral sides and vertical edges became more permeable to the electrolyte.
