Combined use of sepiolite and a hyperbranched polyester in the modification of epoxy/anhydride coatings: A study of the curing process and the final properties

► The combined use of sepiolite and Boltorn H30 as epoxy resin modifiers was studied. ► The best toughness was achieved with a 3% of sepiolite and a 10% of Boltorn H30. ► The Tg of the modified coatings remained unaffected. ► 5% of sepiolite led to a decrease in mechanical properties due to aggregation.
