Synthesis of amino-functionalized epoxy acrylate film by magnetic-filtered plasma stream

Passive epoxy acrylate films were modified by magnetic-filtered plasma stream in a mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen (1:2 in volume). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) results indicated the existence of amino groups on the modified surface. Cellulase was successfully immobilized on the plasma-treated samples by using the introduced amino groups effectively. This makes it possible to extend the application of such films in the fields of bioseparations and biorecognitions.
