Enhancement of struvite purity by re-dissolution of calcium ions in synthetic wastewaters

- In synthetic wastewaters, dynamic Ca removals were characterized along struvite formation.
- Ca2+ and PO43− ions were quickly removed from the wastewaters by precipitation.
- The precipitated PO43− with Ca could be dissolved and used for struvite formation.
