Biochar properties regarding to contaminants content and ecotoxicological assessment

- Biochars from commercial manufacturer were analysed.
- Heavy metals and PAHs were analysed in context of ecotoxicological properties.
- High concentration of PAHs was observed for some biochars.
- Almost all tested biochars were toxic in bioassays applied.
