- A peptide fragment of the AMPA receptor subunit 1 was successfully synthesized.
- Formation of self-assembled monomolecular peptide layer on gold film was confirmed.
- Sorption of KYNA on monolayer peptide-covered gold film was studied by SPR experiment.
- Temperature-dependency of sorption provided the determination of the binding enthalpy.
- Binding free energy of certain KYNA-peptide systems was estimated computationally.
