A facile one-pot synthesis of starch functionalized graphene as nano-carrier for pH sensitive and starch-mediated drug delivery

- Starch functionalized graphene (starch-GNS) was prepared using starch as dual functional agent.
- Starch-GNS exhibited good biocompatibility and was nontoxic for SW-620 cell.
- HCPT@starch-GNS composite showed pH sensitive and starch-mediated drug release profiles.
