Trading polymeric microspheres: Exchanging DNA molecules via microsphere interaction

- We prepared self-assembled microspheres from hydrophilic block copolymer in water.
- We found interesting contact behaviors between the microspheres.
- We encapsulated single-stranded DNA oligomer (ssDNA) in the microspheres.
- The encapsulated ssDNA was exchanged to another microspheres via contact.
- The exchanged ssDNA formed double strand with complementary ssDNA in the microsphere.
